TB Testing

Today we have had our local Vet out to inject all our cattle with Tuberculin to see if they react or not. It is a whole herd test and at the moment we are TB free so need to complete this every 12 months. The Vet will be back on Friday to “read” the test. She will measure each injection site again and compare with the measurements taken today. If we have any “reactors” then they will be killed and we will be shut down and will need to test again within 60 days until we go “clear”. All very distressing not only for our cattle but for ourselves. Will update on Friday.
