We are currently taking care of lots of ewes who are expecting to lamb from 1 April, and this will be the start of ‘Lambing Live’ in the Cotswolds. Since February we have been carefully monitoring our ladies and making sure they get just the right amount of food, whether they have just the one lamb on the way, or maybe as we have seen in the past, four! Too much food and the lambs will grow too fat and create a difficult delivery, not enough food and the ewe may not be able to produce enough milk.
The Easter holidays is the perfect time for your family to join us to experience the wonder of live lambing, and share the joy of those precious first moments of life!
Our self-catering cottages are situated in the Cotswolds, near Burford, and are within easy reach of Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Cheltenham, Broadway, Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the Wold, Cirencester and Bibury. There is plenty to do in the area, for all ages, which makes it the perfect family holiday, especially at Easter.
