Oak Tree Cottage is a small, cosy barn located next to The Gallery, situated in the open Cotswold countryside near Leafield and Burford.
Langley Farm is a working stock farm with views of fields where sheep and cattle graze. This Cotswold cottage is located near the heritage town of Burford.
The cottage is part of a historic barn conversion named after King John’s Oak, a meeting place for huntsmen in medieval Wychwood Forest. Built of Cotswold stone it features exposed oak beams while providing modern comforts in a rural setting.
The property has two bedrooms that can sleep up to four guests. Each bedroom features high ceilings with exposed beams, one with a double bed and the other twin beds that can be linked to provide a king-size bed upon request. One bedroom overlooks the fields, while the other has a Velux window and blackout blinds.
Bedroom one has an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub and a handheld shower. It also has a heated towel rail and a toilet. Bedroom two is next to a separate shower room at the top of the stairs. The shower room features a shower cubicle, a toilet, a sink, and a heated towel rail.
The back door leads into a utility room with a washer and dryer, coat hooks, and space for muddy boots and dog gear.
The open-plan living and dining room has two comfortable sofas, a Smart TV, and a wooden dining table that seats up to four people. French doors open to a gravel courtyard.
The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric ceramic hob and oven, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, and a microwave. It also includes all the cookware and bakeware needed for self-catering.
The living and dining room area is a cosy space enhanced by an original exposed beam, guidebooks/maps, and a tranquil atmosphere. Double doors to outside bring in natural light and countryside views.
The outdoor space features a gravel courtyard equipped with garden furniture, a parasol, and a barbecue area—perfect for alfresco dining while enjoying views of the fields and sunsets.
On-site private parking is available for up to four cars.
Amenities include free Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, a welcome pack, and the option to request a travel cot or high chair.
